The J24 Charity supported an Eagle Scout Project being completed at Bishop Fenwick High School in Franklin Ohio. An Eagle Scout built a Marion Shrine at the front of the school to signify the importance of Mary to the Catholic Faith. The statue and many of the bricks have not been together since the original school and shrine were destroyed by fire in the 1960s. A sign on the shrine proclaims:
This shrine is "an imperfect shrine made by imperfect people to honor the perfect Mother of God".
The project benefits the high school and its students, advocates the foundations of the Catholic faith, and brings attention to the BSA Scouting activities in Warren County Ohio.
Please donate to the project. Although completed, the original goal was for the project to have a majority of the financial cost contributed by the local community.
